Success Stories

Sophia & Liam – A New Path to Confidence
When Sophia noticed her son Liam struggling with reading, she felt helpless. “He’s so smart, but the words just wouldn’t stay on the page,” she shared. After receiving the GPII Dyslexia Scholarship, Liam completed a full evaluation and started targeted interventions. “He’s finally reading with confidence—he even volunteers to read bedtime stories to his little sister now!” Sophia beamed.

Javier & Mateo – Unlocking Potential
Javier always knew his son Mateo was a bright kid, but school was a daily struggle. “He started avoiding homework, saying he was ‘just bad at reading,’” Javier recalled. Thanks to the GPII Dyslexia Scholarship, Mateo received a proper diagnosis and support. “Now, he knows he’s not ‘bad at reading’—he just learns differently. His excitement about books has completely changed!”

Aisha & Nia – Finding the Right Support
For years, Aisha searched for answers about her daughter Nia’s challenges with reading. “The school kept saying she needed to try harder, but I knew there was more to it,” Aisha explained. With the scholarship, Nia received a comprehensive evaluation and access to the right tools. “It was a turning point for us. She’s not just improving academically—she’s believing in herself again.”

Mark & Elijah – A Brighter Future
Mark watched his son Elijah struggle through school, often hiding his reading struggles behind jokes. “He’s so creative and outgoing, but reading made him shut down,” Mark said. After receiving a dyslexia evaluation through the scholarship, Elijah got the accommodations he needed. “For the first time, he told me he actually enjoys learning. That’s everything.”
